Agripak aggregates, packages, and distributes a vast array of fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits to major supermarket chains, airline and remote site camp caterers, and consumers. The farm produce are sourced from our greenhouse and organic open-‐field farms as well as from our partner out growers. We maintain high food safety standards throughout the entire agri-‐business value chain.
Greenhouse technology is immature in Ghana with a huge growth potential to meet the growing market demand for quality produce and minimize the import of vegetables into Ghana. The growing technology requires availability f supporting inputs and expertise. Agripak has partnered with suppliers to provide inputs such as tunnels, coco-‐peat, trellising systems, irrigation systems, and technical expertise to greenhouse operators in Ghana.
Agripak’s training institute has forged relationships with public and private sector institutions in Ghana to collaborate in the areas of research and innovation, technical and vocational skills development, youth employment, and practical field training on Agripak’s Farms. The effort is in line with Agripak’s mandate to build capacity for sustainable employment and economic development in local communities and Ghana overall.
