Limited,
a
wholly
Ghanaian
company,
was
established
in
2014
under
the
Ghana
companies
Code
1963
(ACT
179)
to
produce
and
distribute
quality
and
affordable
fresh
fruits,
vegetables,
herbs
and
livestock
produce
to
individuals
and
commercial
entities.
Agripak
Farms
uses
both
green
house
and
intensive
open-‐field
technologies
for
production.
Greenhouse
Production:
this
is
a
leading
greenhouse
operation
in
Ghana
with
1.5
hectares
of
greenhouse
structures
using
innovative
irrigation
and
production
methods
to
produce
fresh
vegetables,
primarily
market
tomatoes,
cherry
tomatoes,
sweet
bell
pepper,
and
cucumber.
The
facility
has
a
fully
equipped
nursery
tunnel
that
produces
for
Agripak
Farms
and
other
commercial
farms
in
Ghana.
Open-‐field
Production:
this
is
a
350-‐acre
intensive
farming
operation
with
a
huge
focus
on
organic
food
production.
The
farm
focuses
on
the
production
of
the
following:
Vegetables:
Tomatoes,
pepper
(sweet
bell,
chili,
habaneros),
Cucumber,
Lettuce,
Carrots,
Cauliflower,
Aubergine,
Squash,
Cabbage,
Radish,
Shalot,
Leek
Herbs:
Basil,
Celery,
Coriander,
Mint,
Lemon
Grass,
Oregano,
Parsley,
Rocket
Fruits:
Pineapple,
Pawpaw,
Melon,
Mango
Agripak
Farm
is
implementing
the
“Agripak
Model”
in
2018,
which
is
a
Community-‐Based
vegetable
farming
model
where
the
company
provides
land,
training,
and
inputs
to
farm
and
Agripak
Logistics
Limited
will
buy
the
produce
from
the
growers
at
negotiated
market
prices.
Agripak’s
vision
is
to
utilize
the
farming
platform
as
a
center
of
expertise
to
ensure
food
security
in
Ghana
through
training
and
empowering
the
youth,
especially
females,
to
acquire
agri-‐business
skills
to
drive
employment,
financial
security,
and
sustainable
development
in
the
community.
To
this
end,
Agripak
Farms
employs
twenty
(21)
employable
youth
from
its
surrounding
communities.
We
also
seek
to
collaborate
with
academic
and
public
sector
institutions
to
drive
practical
training
and
research
and
innovation.
