Agipak Holdings Limited, established in 2015 under the Ghana companies Code 1963 (ACT 179), is a leading integrated agri-‐business in Ghana with operations in farming, packaging and distribution, services, and training. The company is at the forefront of the growing greenhouse technology in Ghana supported by intensive open-‐field farming to produce fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits. Our fresh and quality farm produce are packaged and distributed to major super-‐market chains, hotels, restaurants, and specialty catering companies in Ghana. We also serve the direct consumer market that is increasingly becoming conscious of healthy eating habits and the need to purchase quality farm produce from a trusted source. The greenhouse farming activity gives Agripak the ability to understand the technology and innovation in the industry, which we partner with trusted suppliers to sell such technology to emerging greenhouse projects in Ghana. The solutions offered to clients include greenhouses, planting inputs, irrigation systems, growing medium, and nursed seedlings. Ghana’s sustainable social and economic growth heavily depends on the skill development of its citizens, especially the youth and females. Agripak’s mandate is to lead the agri-‐business skill development process through our capacity building efforts and by collaborating with academic institutions and industry to leverage our agricultural platform as a center of expertise for further research and innovation.

Our Operations

Agripak Holdings Limited is a wholly Ghanaian-‐owned and registered company headquartered in Accra. We operate an integrated agri-‐business operation with a focus on four (4) pillars across the value chain: 1. Innovative Commercial Farming: this is an innovative greenhouse and open-‐ field farm on a 500-‐acre freehold located between the tri-‐villages of Dumpong, Agyanoa, and Oboadaka in eastern Ghana. The farm’s products include vegetables, herbs, and fruits. This operation is managed under our Agripak Farms Limited subsidiary.
2. Logistics: this is the storage and distribution operation using an aggregator model that procures, stores, and distributes farm produce to wholesalers and retailers in Ghana. The operation, Agripak Logistics Limited, sources its products from Agripak Farms and other out-‐grower farmers in our immediate farming locality and other regions.
3. Services: we offer greenhouse and open field farming solutions and services to agri-‐businesses in Ghana. Greenhouse farming is immature in Ghana with limited availability of the needed technical expertise and inputs such as growing medium, trellising systems, and quality seedlings. This activity is managed through Agripak Services Limited subsidiary.
4. Training: leverage our agri-‐business platform to provide technical training to citizens, especially the youth, to generate a sustainable skills development, employment, and improved livelihoods in the local community and Ghana overall. This capacity building effort is driven by Agripak Training Institute subsidiary. Agripak believes our integrated agri-‐business model and efficient collaboration with relevant partners will provide the needed food security, knowledge and inputs, and labor pool to meet the demands of the national and global markets.

Location

Agripak Holdings Limited is headquartered in Ghana’s capital city of Accra. However, the commercial farming operation, Agripak Farms Limited, is situated 25 miles northeast of Accra in the Dumpong-‐Agyanoa-‐Oboadaka farming enclave, which is located in the valleys of Aburi Mountains’ elevation of 1,513 feet above sea level. The location and distance from the city makes it easily accessible for the supply of fresh farm produce to our buyers on a daily basis. The elevation of the farm is 571 feet above sea level with minimum and maximum temperatures averaging 20.3°C and 28.0°C respectively. As a result, daytime temperatures are moderately high and nights are cool – perfect for the cultivation of vegetables, especially for greenhouse production. Rainfall patterns in the Aburi Mountain region are heavy and all-‐year round because of its tropical climate and high elevation. The annual rainfall volume in the area averages 1,278mm. The driest month is January, with 25 mm of rainfall. Most precipitation falls in June, with an average of 220 mm. The heavy rainfall pattern bodes well for open-‐field farming, and provides consistent supply of water in boreholes that are pumped for both greenhouse and open-‐field irrigation. The area has a low population with an estimated 4,000 persons within a ten-‐mile radius of the farm’s perimeter. Most live in family enclaves of only a few acres, from which they subsist on vegetable gardening and livestock tending. The main commercial faming activity of the citizens has been out-‐grower pineapple farming for exports. However, the recent ban on pineapple
