Agripak Training Institute

Agripak Training Institute, a wholly Ghanaian company, was established in 2014 under the Ghana companies Code 1963 (ACT 179) to train the youth of Ghana in modern agricultural practices. During an intensive training experience, young entrepreneurs will be taught a vocation appropriate to their individual circumstances while receiving supplemental instruction on life skills needed to re-‐enter their communities with confidence and vision. The institute will use the existing farm as hands-‐on training fields to enable trainees acquire the full vocational and technical skills required. In addition, the training institute will collaborate with technical and university institutions to drive research and innovation activities, while ensuring students gain the field knowledge to be employable.

At full capacity, Agripak plans to train 2,500 youth a year. Agripak Training Institute has been designed to introduce young minds to a new perspective of life that includes science, innovation and proven business practices. The institute will be built, equipped and staffed to nurture the future economic base of Ghana, enabling young Ghanaians to bring their communities out of poverty through technology and the discipline associated with long-‐term goals.
