Agripak
Training
Institute,
a
wholly
Ghanaian
company,
was
established
in
2014
under
the
Ghana
companies
Code
1963
(ACT
179)
to
train
the
youth
of
Ghana
in
modern
agricultural
practices.
During
an
intensive
training
experience,
young
entrepreneurs
will
be
taught
a
vocation
appropriate
to
their
individual
circumstances
while
receiving
supplemental
instruction
on
life
skills
needed
to
re-‐enter
their
communities
with
confidence
and
vision.
The
institute
will
use
the
existing
farm
as
hands-‐on
training
fields
to
enable
trainees
acquire
the
full
vocational
and
technical
skills
required.
In
addition,
the
training
institute
will
collaborate
with
technical
and
university
institutions
to
drive
research
and
innovation
activities,
while
ensuring
students
gain
the
field
knowledge
to
be
employable.
At
full
capacity,
Agripak
plans
to
train
2,500
youth
a
year.
Agripak
Training
Institute
has
been
designed
to
introduce
young
minds
to
a
new
perspective
of
life
that
includes
science,
innovation
and
proven
business
practices.
The
institute
will
be
built,
equipped
and
staffed
to
nurture
the
future
economic
base
of
Ghana,
enabling
young
Ghanaians
to
bring
their
communities
out
of
poverty
through
technology
and
the
discipline
associated
with
long-‐term
goals.
